Do you think french is difficult to pronounce?

Most people think that native english speakers should find european languages like french easy to pronounce and asian languages like chinese difficult to pronounce. But as a european native english speaker, by far I find mandarin chinese easier to pronounce than French! Granted, I don't actually learn french, but my sister does and from when I see french words written down and hear her pronounce them I just cannot get my tongue around the pronunciation of the words! Do you think french is difficult to pronounce?
