Yahoo mail on my phone has a conversations tab and shows all my past IM conversations, How do I delete these?

Please provide me details on how do this. I already went to messenger on my computer and checked the preferences to make sure I wasn't archieving the conversations. Why is it putting them on the email on my phone?
